After Graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Design from the University of South Australia , I was one of two graduates accepted into the Associate Program at the Jam Factory Craft and Design Center in Adelaide.
During this 2 year program I designed and constructed work for several high profile commissions including the interior design of several several retail outlets and the design and assembly of the trophies for the FIA Formula 1 Grand Prix for the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Adelaide race.
Following the Jam Factory, I spent six years working overseas, Primarily in the product design, Advertising and film industries in Malaysia Singapore and Thailand. Projects included work for Malaysian Airlines, Malaysian helicopter services, Coca-cola, Colgate, KFC, Kellogg's, McDonald's, Oreo, Motorola and Nokia.
Before starting at SOTO, Khamal was responsible for overseeing the redesign and manufacture of Pallet forming equipment in Shanghai, China as well as its installation and commissioning in Port Kelang Malaysia as Operation Manager of Packtech International.
